Water Supply Pipe Engineer - Torquay

HomeServe are currently recruiting for Water Supply Pipe Engineers!

• Location – Torquay or within a 20 minute drive of a TQ postcode
• Full Time - 40 hours a week – including some evening, weekend and bank holiday work
• Salary - Between £35,629 - £41,000 depending upon experience and a £15000 signing on bonus!

• Basic starting salary of up to £28,334 - £35,629
• £3,000 signing on bonus paid in 2 instalments

What you’ll have

• Previous experience of identifying leaks, repairing and laying water mains
• Experience of working in all-weather types
• Must hold a full UK driving license, with 6 or less penalty points.
• Must be able to approach and resolve problems logically
• Can demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm for the task in hand
• Excellent customer service skills
• It would also be great if you had experience of working in an FCA regulated environment
• Ideally WIAPS and CCNSG or NVQ Level 2 - but not essential.

Training & Support

To help you settle in to your career with HomeServe, you will undertake our extensive training programme.

• Week 1 will be Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 at our Head Office in Walsall, covering all things HomeServe, Health and Safety, tools and equipment
• Week 2-3 you will be buddied up with an experienced HomeServe Water Mains Technician
• Week 4 will be 3 days in Nottingham for additional training and support
• Where geographically appropriate we will pay for your accommodation
