HomeServe are currently recruiting for a Contact Centre Agent to join HomeServe Limited. This is a new role to join the growing Consumer Finance business at Group level. The successful candidate will be fluent in both English and German.
We work in a hybrid way, mostly remote with a requirement to travel into our London office twice a week to work with the team. With that in mind you will be located within a convenient commute to Kings Cross.
If successful, your first week of Training will take place in Colton, Leeds.
You will be responsible for responding to customer and partner queries as well as contacting customers to collect overdue payments for both our UK and German businesses.
Additionally, you will also be responsible for the onboarding of new customers for our German business. The contact centre agent must have strong communication and negotiation skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Customer Service:
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing customer needs and concerns effectively.
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.
2. Collection:
- Contacting customers to collect overdue payments or outstanding balances.
- Negotiating payment arrangements with customers to ensure timely collection.
- Following up on payment commitments and resolving any collection issues.
3. Underwriting:
- Evaluating and assessing applications to determine risk and eligibility.
- Analysing financial and credit information to make underwriting decisions.
- Evaluating applications based on underwriting guidelines and regulations.
4. Admin:
- Admin work as required
